The Firestone Transforce AT delivers all-terrain wet and dry performance that you can count on. Combine polyester and steel light truck construction with a full spiral nylon cap ply. Add UNI-T technology. Finish with continuous shoulder ribs with deep shoulder slots and advanced high modulus tread compound. The result is traction in rain and dry conditions, reduced irregular wear, and chip and tear resistance for a tire that works as hard as you do.
The Firestone Transforce AT is engineered to provide commercial service vehicles all-terrain wet and dry performance. It is now offered in Load Range C & E and comes with a Gold Pledge Limited Warranty, and a Buy & Try 30-Day Guarantee. The Firestone Destination AT is offered in the following rim sizes (15" thru 18") and comes in a black wall as well as an outlined white letter version.
The Firestone Destination AT is an original equipment fitment on some of today's most popular truck and suv applications including the GMC Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, and Yukon. The Firestone Destination AT tire also encoporates the following technology's in to every tire it manufactures such as an advanced high modulus tread compound and polyester and steel construction which helps to prevent damage and promotes long wear. It also has computer-designed shape and body which contributes to ride and comfort, a circumferential groove for extra traction in wet conditions, and a continuous shoulder rib to help increase tread life.
The Firestone Transforce AT incorporates UNI-T which is an acronym for ?Ultimate Network of Intelligent Tire Technology.? One of its core technologies is a Computer Optimized Component System, CO?CS, through which a super computer helps determine an ideal combination of tread design, casing shape, materials and construction for a particular application. Tires with UNI-T have an O-Bead that helps eliminate overlapped joints in the bead assembly, improving the way a tire interacts with the rim to provide a rounder assembly for improved stability. The use of L.L. Carbon, or Long Link Carbon, an advanced form of carbon black, also in UNI-T, produces a strong tire, better able to resist cracking, chipping, tearing and excessive wear.
